| Abstract: | The collection of short stories,Taibei Man and NewYork Man,is the masterpiece of Bai Xianyong,a writer form Taiwan. Its spiritual connotation and artistic accomplishment are embodied in his works. He is called the standard-bearer of comtemporary novelist school. Through his works his traditional cultural affection can be got,as well as his tragedy consciousness,aesthetics implication,creative style,and literary orientation . |
