科举终结的原因及其启示——考试与教育的视角

摘    要:科举考试内容的窄化、固化和科举考试形式的僵化并由此导致的科举单一的“指挥棒”作用与学校教育内容丰富性和目标多样性要求之间矛盾的激化,是科举制消亡的根本原因。借鉴科举与学校教育的经验教训,可以为当前的“片面追求升学率”和“高考存废”等现实问题提供启示。

Abstract:The basic causes that the system of imperial examinations has come to its end are the sharp contradictions between the inflexible content,the stereotyped forms of imperial examinations,the only imperial examinations guidance and the rich diet and the various aims of education.The lessons from imperial examinations and education could offer beneficial implications to present educational problems such as "placing undue emphasis on the rate of entering college" and "keeping or abolishing the college entrance examination".
