| 摘 要： | 本文以Lakoff的＂理想化认知模型＂为视点,阐释英汉两种语言中隐喻谚语构建存在的同与异及其成因。英汉隐喻性谚语的共性来源于人类隐喻思维的共性。而语言受制于文化,英汉两种语言不同的文化认知方式导致各自语言中的概念隐喻系统呈现出不同的特点。

| Abstract: | This paper attempts to account for the causes of the observed similarities and differences in the construction of Chinese and English metaphoric idioms by taking advantage of the notion of ＂Idealized Cognitive Models＂ advanced by Lakoff.The similarities between Chinese and English metaphoric idioms come from similar human metaphoric thinking.However,language is restricted by culture.The different cultural cognitive styles between the two languages lead to the differences between their own conceptual metaphorical systems. |
