| 摘 要： | 本文主要以对詹纳尔翻译的中国古典名著《西游记》中人物称呼的英译为研究对象,首先对西游记人物称呼归类,以说明西游记中人物称呼的特殊性和给翻译带来的难题。其次就詹纳尔翻译的西游记中人物称呼英译过程中翻译手段的运用做了详尽的分析和评论最后提出自己的拙见：增加必要注释可更好的传达源语言中潜藏的文化因素。

| Abstract: | Xiyouji as one of the four great Chinese classical novels enjoys the grate reputation and renown and is wildly accepted among readers all around the world.The roles name in Xiyoujii have its own features.It is difficult for the translator to convey these culture-loaded names correctly.The author would analyze the types of name in Xiyouji and discuss the translation methods applied in W.J.F Jenner’s version. |
