| 摘 要： | 目的论是功能理论中最重要的理论,它认为翻译是有明确目的的跨文化交际行为。本文试图从目的论角度以日照市公共场所公示语英文翻译为对象进行个案研究,对公共场所公示语汉英翻译的语用失误进行探讨。
