摘    要:随着国际化的推进,越来越多的外国人喜欢中餐,中餐菜单中菜名的英译成为传播中国饮食文化的必要手段。以中餐菜单菜名的命名方法为基础,运用巴斯奈特文化翻译理论,探讨中餐菜单中菜名英译的各种方法,达到传播中国饮食文化的目的。

Abstract:With the development of globalization, more and more foreigners like to eat Chinese di- shes. English translation of Chinese dishes in the menu becomes the necessary method to spread Chi- nese diet culture. Based on naming methods of Chinese dishes in the menu and Bassnett cultural trans- lation theory, varieties of English translation methods of Chinese dishes in the menu are discussed to reach the aim of spreading Chinese diet culture.
