| 摘 要： | 探讨了当前高职高专院校土木工程专业英语教学中所存在的问题，如适合高职高专特点的教学内容选取比较困难；专业英语教师教学理念陈旧，教学方法及手段有待改进及学生学习的主动性、积极性未被充分调动等。试图从教材及教师队伍的建设、教学模式和手段及评估方法的改革等方面来提出对策以促进高职院校土木工程专业英语的教学。

| Abstract: | This paper explores problems in the English teaching of civil engineering in high vocational colleges. For example, It is difficult to select teaching materials which can comply with the characteristics of high vocational colleges; most of ESP teachers are adopting stereotyped teaching methodology and students lack motivation to learn specialized English. By discussing the composition of teaching materials, development of teaching teams, teaching methodology and assessment mode, this paper aims to propose strategies to promote the English teaching of civil engineering in high vocational colleges. |
