| Abstract: | By gathering local records, collected works, and other data concerned, this paper investigates in detail WANG Guan's origin, native place, compellation and personal record. The paper concludes that Wang Guan, a famous poet in North-Song Dynasty, was born probably in the year of 1032, that he was a few years older than SHU Shi, and that he passed away when he was in his fifties. |
