元认知策略在大学英语教学中的运用

摘    要:随着《大学英语课程教学要求》的颁布与实施,大学英语教学模式已经发生了很大的变化,即已逐渐从以教师为中心、单纯传授语言知识与技能的教学模式,向以学生为中心,既传授一般语言知识与技能,同时又更加注重培养学生语言运用能力和自主学习能力的教学模式转变。本文介绍了元认知策略概念及其在教学中的作用,结合大学英语教学的实际,探讨了如何在大学英语教学中有效运用元认知策略组织教学活动,以达到提高英语学习效率的目的。

Abstract:Along with the promulgation and the implementation Of College English Curriculum Requirements, the teaching methods of College English have been changed greatly. A teacher-centered pattern in which knowledge of the language and skills are imparted by the teacher in class has been shifting to a student-centered pattern. Namely, the ability to use the language and the ability to learn independently are cultivated in addition to language knowledge and skills. The paper introduces the concept of metacognitive strategy and its function in College English teaching in combination with the practice of College English teaching. In addition it discusses how to utilize the metacognitive strategies in College English teaching to improve English learning efficiency.
