| Abstract: | High-speed cutting is the cutting process during which the speed is much higher than the conventional cutting speed, and the cutting speed is 5 to 10 times higher than the coventional cutting speed. Besides the concept of high-speed machining, the articale also discusses the necessity and feasibility, tool shank and cutting tools, and cautions of high-speed machining. |
