| 摘 要： | Edward.Albee’s masterpiece Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?is generally considered as one of the representative works of Theatre of the Absurd.This paper will analyze the two sets of opposing power structure in the play from the perspective of New Historicism and further demonstrate the cultural and historical context implied in the play.
