| 摘 要： | 对西部高校体育素质教育现状进行了调查和研究，结果显示：体育素质存在认识误区、物质基础投入不足、人力资源(特别是教师学历层次低)缺乏，严重制约了教育教学改革步伐，发展对策：提高对体育素质本质的认识、建立高素质的教师队伍、转变观念牢固树立素质教育思想、确立适宜的体育教育目标、按照素质的要求调整教学内容改革教学方法、建立科学有效的体育素质教育评价体系。

| Abstract: | The essay investigates the sports education in the universities of the China's Westland. The investigation shows a lot of backwardness including lack of fundamental investment and the low academic degree of the sports teachers. The essay suggests that higher academic degree teaches should be cultivated, suitable sports objectives be established, teaching content and methods be adjusted in order to build a scientific and efficient sports assessment system. |
