| 摘 要： | 清光绪三年（1877年）清统治者析岫岩州，设通化、怀仁、宽甸三县，自始通化设治。清统治者以吉祥祈福和文治武功的含义将通化地域取名为“通化”，含有通归王化之意。文中从政治、经济、民族等方面对通化设治原因进行论证，阐速了清末通化设治的积极意义。

| Abstract: | In the 3^rd year of Guang Xu of Qing Dynasty （1877）, the rulers of Qing Dynasty set up three counties, including Tonghua, Huairen, Kuandian. The rulers named the area ＂Tonghua＂ according to the meanings of auspicious blessing and cultural and military achievements, which meant that Tonghua belonged to the Qing Dynasty. This article tried to demonstrate the cause of administrative install from three aspeets of polities, economies and nation, and expressed the positive meaning of administrative install. |
