| Abstract: | Developing students' ability of acquiring fresh knowledge is considered as the main purpose of extensive reading teaching. The article proposes three ways of developing students' ability in this course, advances the combination of studying and its application in converting the knowledge into ability and advocates the properly handling the relations of three aspects in extensive reading teaching. |
