| 摘 要： | Prof. LI Can, vice director-general of the CAS Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, was elected new president of the Executive Committee of the International Association for Catalysis Societies (IACS) at the 14th International Congress on Catalysis held from 13 to 18 July in Seoul, ROK. It is the first time for a Chinese scientist to serve the post. Established in 1956 in Pennsylvania, IACS is an international consortium of catalysis societies from 30 countries.
