| 摘 要： | 陈济棠的主要教育思想和实践活动,主要有:"教育是国家根本大计,永久事业的思想";"教育要适应社会需要的思想";"教育职业化的思想"。陈济棠实践其教育思想,大力发展教育的背景与基础:一是称霸南粤、问鼎中原需要取得更多的实际成就;二是发展经济建设急需培养各类专业人才;三是有继承父亲发展教育遗志的思想动力;四是有当时经济发展的物质基础。陈济棠的教育思想和实践,在广东教育发展历史上有过巨大贡献,至今仍具参考价值,对今天的教育改革有着借鉴意义和启迪作用。

| Abstract: | The educational thoughts of Chen Jitang mainly include ： ＂education is of fundamental importance to and an ever- lasting cause of a country＂, ＂education should meet social requirements＂ and ＂educational should be professional＂. The back- ground and basis for Chen Jitang to carry out his educational thoughts and actively develop education include four aspects. First, it required more practical achievements to dominate the educational circle in south China and get a leading position in middle Chi- na. Second, various professional talents would be needed in economic development. Third, he had the determination to carry on his father＇ s lifework of developing education. Fourth, he enjoyed suitable material basis. Chen Jitang＇ s educational thoughts contributed much to the educational development of Guangdong Province and remain a good reference and inspiration for today＇ s educational reform. |
