| Abstract: | Li Jian-xun ' s poems were made mostly for amusement or as gifts for his friends,which is a result of the embarrassment confronting the intellects on tenure of office,Li being the one of them,when the imperial power was gaining strength.Consequently,his poems are simple but elegant,a style inherited from poetry of mid and late Tang Dynasty. |
