| 摘 要： | 本文选取天津五所高职院校为调查对象，以相关的外语学习动机理论为基础，通过问卷调查高职学生的英语学习动机，在就业导向下分析外部动机和内部动机对高职学生英语学习的影响，并提出激发内部动机的建议，以持续提高学生英语语言水平和就业竞争力，满足企业对英语技能的需求。

| Abstract: | This paper analyzes a questionnaire which tests the English learning motivation of students in five Tianjin vocational institutes based on language learning motivation theory. The focus is on the influences of extrinsic motivation and intrinsic motivation on English learning and employment. Proposals are put for- ward to improve students＇ English skills and employment com- petitiveness. |
