| 摘 要： | 在影响翻译实践的诸多因素中,译者个性因素不容忽视。同一原文,常因译者个性不同形成译本的多样化。以《论语》为例,选取具代表性的五个英译本,探讨译者的不同个性如何影响翻译策略。理雅各的学者气质,辜鸿铭的古怪个性,林语堂的作家气质,庞德的诗人气质,以及安乐与哲罗思文的哲学家气质都使各自的译本风格互不相同。

| Abstract: | Among the numerous factors influencing the translation practice,the translator's personality is one which cannot be ignored.It is the translator's personality that contributes to the diversity of translations of one single source text.Take The Analects for example,we choose five versions of its translation,aiming at studying the diversity of translations from the perspective of the translator's personality.Through a comparative study of five versions,we can see Legge's scholarly personality,Ku Hongming's eccentric one,Lin Yutang's personality as a writer,Pound's as a poet and Ames' as a philosopher.All these personalities have their traces in the translations. |
