| Abstract: | There is a collection book The Epitaph for Li Hu in Qingshui County of Gansu Province. Some scholars believe that the Li Hu is Li Yuans grandfather whose name is also Li Hu. The investigations on the origins of his surname, style, the names of his father and grandfather, ranks and titles, the year he died and the place of his tomb proved that the Li Hu in Qingshui County and the late grandfather of Tang Dynasty Li Hu are absolutely not the same identical person. |
