| 摘 要： | 汉字是记录汉民族语言的书写符号系统,是我们中华民族的精神象征。如果没有汉字就不会有光辉灿烂的中国古代文明,可以说汉字是中华文明之母。汉字的作用主要可以从历史和现实两个方面来说：在历史上,汉字是我们中华民族传统文化的载体,它蕴含着中华民族丰富的社会文化心理,在中国历史上起了极大的团结作用;现实中,汉字能不断适应中国历史发展的要求,能适应信息化,并且在汉文化圈中发挥着特殊作用。同时,随着汉语在全球走红,汉字在对外汉语教学中也发挥着不可代替的作用。
