| 摘 要： | 高校的“扩招”和“超常规发展”是新形势下高校图书馆面临的重大挑战。汕头大学图书馆充分利用现代信息技术，密切配合学校教学科研工作的需要，从网络、系统、资源、人员、服务等方面入手，基本上形成了开放的信息环境，具备了丰富的信息资源，满足了新形势下为全校师生提供高质量信息资源服务的要求，正发展为新一代图书馆。
