| Abstract: | ??The process of cognition on the research methods of library science is being gradually advanced. The efforts fdr scientific character of library science and the expects for becoming a real science have made libraryexperts use some methods from other disciplines in the purpose of solving problems of library science. The independence of the disciplines and the speciality of the research methods are closely related ,so,at last library experts optimistically realize that bibliometrics and citation analysis are"special methods"for library science itself. Not only the concrete subject and purpose but also the concepts and terms of library science should be considered while using the methods above mentioned. It is the methods and methodology which make library science obtain its own position. |
