摘    要:通过对为交际运用英语能力的概念和内涵及其培养方法体系的分析与研究,笔者提出我国外语教学目标不宜提培养交际能力,其实施途径或方法体系也不宜单一,或主要采用习得理论指导下的任务型教学,这不完全符合我国基本国情。

Abstract:The concept of the ability to use English for communication and nature of the approaches are mainly described and analyzed.Foreign language teaching should aim to develop students' ability to use English for communication,rather than to develop their communicative competence.The approaches should be active and effective approaches,rather than a single approach,especially task-based approach.To develop students' communicative competence is not suitable for China's national situation.
