| Abstract: | Taking the Journal of Neurosurgery in USA and the Journal of the American College of Surgeons as examples, the authors discuss the characteristics of consecutive and simultaneous peer review processes. The differences are compared and emphasized. The authors also introduce the unique consecutive peer-review process of the Journal of Neurosurgery. |
