Abstract: | At the time of this interview Russell Hoban had published fifty-two books for children and five books for adults. The interview was recorded on videotape for the interest of distanced off-campus students of children's literature at Deakin University, Victoria, Australia.Rhonda Bunbury is a lecturer in Literature and Language Education at Deakin University in Australia. She was Director of the national reading project, Children's Choice in Australia, 1981–85. Her publications include the open campus courses in children's literature, entitled The Whole Story, More Than A Story, The Power of Story (1980), and Taught not Caught, Looking at Literature (1986). |
