| Abstract: | The causes of English-Chinese and Chinese-English mistranslation are many. However, the root cause of those typical mistakes committed by most of the Chinese learners of English is most likely to be negative transfer of the mother tongue and Chinese thinking effects. This paper tries to probe into the genetics principle of the above-mentioned phenomenon of mistranslation. |
