从材料科学JCR数据看科学期刊的正确评价

摘    要:以材料科学类期刊为例,对影响因子与被引半衰期等其它评价指标进行了系统分析,指出了片面强调影响因子所带来的偏差与危害,讨论了如何综合利用JCR的各项指标对科学期刊进行正确评价的问题。提出了分别对待不同性质研究领域的主张,即时髦领域主要看影响因子、兼顾被引半衰期,经典领域主要看被引半衰期、兼顾影响因子。

Abstract:In the present paper,the impact factor was systematically discussed together with other JCR factors such as cited half-life based on the JCR data of materials science.The problems and harmful effects due to the unsuitable emphasis on impact factor were analyzed and listed out,and it was discussed how to appropriately evaluate the scientific journals based on the comprehensive analysis of JCR data.A new idea on how to appropriately evaluate the scientific journals by using different primary JCR factors for the journals belonging to different sub-fields has been proposed.The journals in hot fields should be primarily evaluated by the impact factor,while the journals for the traditional fields should be more primarily evaluated by the cited half-life.
