| Abstract: | The Art of War by Sunzi is a book of ancient times, yet its influences have been extended into such fields as polltics, economy and diplomacy. Wars and modern competitive sports share not only the ultimate purpose of winning but aiso the same strategies. The general character of the Art of War by Sunzi and Modern Competitive sports is discussed here according to the essenee of Sunzi's ideas that a qulified Seneral demands fivc virtues and Sunzi's theory of Knowing the enemy and Knowing yourseir in a war. |
