| 摘 要： | 清王朝对西北地区的重新统一，使西北边疆地区和内地的政治，经济、化的联系不断加强，在这种宏阔的历史大背景下，清代中叶后兴起了以研究边陲史地，谋求保国固土为主要内容的西北边疆史地学。在这一学术潮流中，祁韵士以其“信今而证古”的研究原则和开创性的系列作品，为清代西北边疆史地学的兴起作出了重要的贡献，从而成为清代西北边疆史地学的开创。

| Abstract: | During Qing Dynasty, the central government's reuniting the Northwestern area had greatly strengthened the political economical and cultural relations between the Northwestern frontier area and inland area. Under this grand background appeared an academic trend of studying the history and geography of the Northwestern frontier area, serving the purpose of defending the whole country. In this trend , Qi Yun-shi made a great contribution to the study of it by his series of pioneering works, based on an academic principle of using today's information to prove the past. Hence he became the founder of the study of the history and geography of the Northwestern frontier area. |
