| Abstract: | In accordance with the semantic analysis, it can be concluded that both English and Chinese occupational euphemisms contain a personal noun or a morpheme, which serves as euphemistic marks. The euphemistic marks of occupational euphemisms in both languages present common features in the aspects of professions, official titles, taste and even sexes, and they are contrastive. |
