| 摘 要： | 美国女作家项美丽的传记作品《宋氏三姐妹》，生动地塑造了三姐妹的父亲宋查理的形象。在其他传记文本中，宋查理具有明显的中国文化身份，而在这部作品中，宋查理形象很大程度上被简化了，变成了一个中国人美国化的标本，成为项美丽本人和美国文化个性的投射。从艺术的角度来看宋查理形象的塑造比较成功，而从历史角度来看却是经不起推敲的。总的来说，这部作品在促进中美文化交流的同时也导致了文化误读的产生。

| Abstract: | The biography The Soong Sisters created by Xiang Meili,an American female writer whose English name was Emily Hahn, vividly portrays the image of the sisters＇ father Charlie Soong. In other biographical text,Song Charlie has obvious Chinese cultural identi-ty. But in this text,Song Charlie＇s image is largely simplified into a specimen how a Chinese person Americanization,becoming the pro-jection of Xiang Meili herself and America cultural personality. From the perspective of art,the image of Song Charlie is successful. How-ever,it cannot withstand scrutiny in the light of history. Thus this work promotes the Sino-US cultural exchanges,while leading to the e-mergence of cultural misreading. |
