| 摘 要： | 英语和汉语是两种高度发展的语言，都拥有大量的谚语。恰当地翻译英语谚语，需要掌握一定的翻译方法，如直译法、意译法以及套译法等，与此同时，还应兼顾到英语谚语的民族色彩和文化习惯，才能使译文的表达愈确切、愈完美。
