| Abstract: | The Fall of the House of Usher is Allan Poe's one representative work of horror stories,which well manifests the characteristics of his horror novels.This thesis analyzes the beauty of horror of Allan Poe's horror stories on the basis of aesthetics,expounding his aesthetic concepts which was following those of Immanuel Kant's and studying how he displayed his aesthetic ideas in The Fall of the House of Usher. |
