摘    要:《闺塾师》运用社会性别与中国历史相结合的方法,突破了传统的“五四”史观指导下的脸谱化的旧中国受害女性理论和“压迫——解放”的中国妇女史研究旧有模式,从女性视角出发,重新解读明末清初江南才女们的生活,不仅丰富了关于17世纪江南女性与文化的研究,更为今人重新认识“传统中国”提供了新观念、新视角。

Gender Theory and Its Significance from Teachers of the Inner Chambers

Abstract:In Teachers of the Inner Chambers, the method of combing gender and Chinese history is used to break theories of women victims under the guidance of the traditional "May 4th" view of history, discarding the conventional narrative mold of " Oppression-Liberation" in Chinese women history. Teachers of the Inner Chambers re-interprets the life of elite women in Jiangnan (south of the Yangzi River) from a new female perspective, which has not only enriched the elite women and cultural studies in the 17th century, but also offered new concepts, new perspectives to understand "traditional China". From that standpoint, the Chinese historical research may bring about revolutionary changes.
