| 摘 要： | 16世纪30年代,克伦威尔全面主持英国政府事务。他审时度势,以宗教改革为契机,对外打击罗马教廷的势力,确立起国家的外部主权,对内削弱教俗贵族的权力,确立了国王的最高权威;并通过政府改革构建了国家机构的模式,使国家以制度化的方式开始运作,规定了英国政府机构的未来走向。克伦威尔在英国历史上的重要作用在于:他启动了英国向近代国家的转化过程,为英国近代国家的确立奠定了坚实的基础,并为资本主义发展创造了“民族的经济空间”。

| Abstract: | During 1630's, Thomas Cromwell took an overall charge of the English government affairs. By taking advantage of the Reformation tactfully, he established the sovereignty of the state by controlling the power of the government of the Pope externally and founded the supreme authority of king by weakening the right of the noble internally. Through the reform, he built the model of the state organizations and made it operate to determine the future trend in British government organizations. Thomas Cromwell had played an important role in the history of Britain. He initiated the course to modern England, built a sound foundation for the modern state and further created national economic conditions for developing capitalism. |
