| Abstract: | This paper, based on a study of the famous remark LESS TO WIN THAN TO TAKEPART which was highly praised by Mr. Pierre De Coubertin,has explored the origin and development of Coubertin's sport idea,followed by a discussion of the practical significance of it, From the life of Mr. Coubertin,his works,the Olympic Charter ,and the aim of ancient Olympiad, the author explained that the core of Mr. Coubertin's sport idea was education. |
