| 摘 要： | 主位是信息的起点,是交际的出发点。主位结构通过句子的主位切分来了解语篇内部各个句子之间内在联系和信息分布规律。英汉两种语言属于不同的语系,因此存在句法结构上的差异。本文从语篇分析理论中的主位推进角度出发对英汉两种语言主位结构上的差异进行对比分析(英语是主语突出的语言而汉语是话题突出的语言),讨论了在英汉语篇翻译中主位推进模式切换的重要性及对翻译教学的指导意义。

| Abstract: | Theme is the point of departure of the message, the starting-point of the communication. The analysis of the thematic structure in a text will display the internal relationship of the sentences in a text, as well as the law of message distribution. The paper attempts to apply the concept of theme and rheme to the study of text translation between English and Chinese in perspective of theme and theme. Sentence structures in English and Chinese are different as they belong to different language family. Chinese is a topic-prominent language while English is a subject-prominent language. So the application of the concept of theme is very important to the study of English-Chinese or Chinese-English translation shifts in the field of E-C translation teaching. |
