| Abstract: | Cao Xiu-xian was one of the most important historical and cultural celebrities in the Nanchang area.The Ancestral Temple of Cao Family was one of the two family temples built with a decree of Emperor Qian Long of the Qing Dynasty.＂Six members of Cao Family passed the imperial examination for Jinshi during Emperor Qian Long＇s reign,and two served as Shangshu（minister） whose home villages were only 2.5 kilometers apart,One of the two Shangshu was also the member of Cao Family.＂ Prominent Cao Family was the epitome of ancient farming-reading culture.Rebuilding the Ancestral Temple of Cao Family can create great economic and social value.The protection of historical and cultural buildings is part of cultural soft power,which must contribute significantly to the development of urban economic development and which,in the meanwhile,will inevitably bring about great economic and social benefits.Historical and cultural architecture not only improves the status and image of the city,but also shows the city＇s spirit and connotation.In addition,it is the most valuable tourism resource and can generate enormous economic benefits. |
