| Abstract: | Advanced English Teaching(AET) is chiefly text-slanted,aiming at developing students' abilities in both reading and writing.Cohesion theory is a solid basis for cultivating student's abilities to understand,appreciate and write a text.The paper discusses the application of cohesion theory to AET so that a new approach to AET is to be found out by combining linguistic theory with practice. |
