| 摘 要： | <活地狱>是晚清谴责小说中的上品.全书由十五个各自独立的短篇小说组成,作者以犀利的笔锋暴露了官僚的贪婪无耻,衙役的横行无忌,刑罚的残酷恶毒.如果说在<官场现形记>中李伯元是全景式地向官僚机构全面猛轰的第一人,那么,<活地狱>应为特写式地集中暴露衙门黑暗的第一书.

| Abstract: | Composed of fifteen respectively independent short stories, the book Hell on Earth is a top - grade censure novel in late Qing dynasty. Using a trenchant pen, the author exposed the greed and shamelessness of the bureaucrats, the outrages and ferocity of yamen runners and the cruel and viciousnature of penalties. If Li Bayuan, a character in the book Records Revealing the Truth in Official Circles, is the first person who violently shelled the bureaucratic apparatus in an all - round way, Hell on Earth could be considered the first book which focuses on exposing the darkness of yamen. |
