| 摘 要： | 科学技术期刊编辑委员会不是国家规定必须设立的编辑机构，是否设立须根据实际需要而定；小型期刊编辑部和编辑出版任务量不大的主办(主管)单位，可以不设立期刊编辑委员会。讨论了编委会的地位与作用问题。

| Abstract: | Editorial board of sci-tech periodicals is not an organization that must be set up according to the governmental provisions. Whether or not setting up the editorial board should be determined in the light of the concret situations. For the small periodical publishing units, there is no need to have an editorial board. Questions on the status and functions of an editorial board are discussed. |
