| 摘 要： | 自上世纪80年代我国实行改革开放政策以来,广大农村人民的生活得到了较大的改善,农村各项文化事业也得到了较快的发展。但是,由于我国幅员辽阔,经济和社会发展极不平衡,一些农村地区的经济、文化发展还很落后。正是基于对我国国情和发展规律的深刻认识,党中央提出了建设社会主义新农村的历史任务。作为农村文化事业的一个组成部分,乡镇图书馆可以也应该发挥特殊的作用。另一方面,新农村建设对乡镇图书馆的发展也提出了新要求,提供了新契机。为了更好发挥乡镇图书馆对新农村建设的作用,必须寻求新思路与新办法解决制约其发展的一些老问题。
