| Abstract: | This year is the 250 anniversary of the death of Cao Xue-qin, who is a literary giant, the author of A Dream in Red Mansions. When re-examining Cao＇ s life, the present paper believes that there are three aspects which can never be forgotten： one is the family changes; two is doomed not to be an official; three is Waterloo Red Mansions in his late years. |
