| 摘 要： | 本文描述数字化图书馆产生的背景, 它的概念、特征、模型和功能。作者根据当前世界范围内在 Internet 环境下电子文献信息服务, 提出了数字化图书馆的现实模型, 它包括四层结构: 第一层为用户界面, 第二层为网络和通讯环境, 第三层为电子文献信息资源, 第四层为附加层次, 是一种联机的自我服务系统和请求帮助系统; 它有五大功能模块: 各种载体数字化, 用新技术来存储, 组织有效的查询和访问, 数字化资料的传递, 系统管理等。文章指出, 九十年代以来, Internet 网上的许多WWW , GOPHER,WAIS 服务器已出现数字化图书馆的雏型。上海交通大学图书馆将在本世纪末建成数字化图书馆雏型。

| Abstract: | This paper describes the generation,concepts,basic features,and the models of a digital library.The authors,especially,present that a dream of the electronic library is able to come true under Internet environment,and a real electronic library model consists of four structure levels which are user interfaces,networks and communications,information resource,and reference service system. There are five functions in the digital library which are digitized documents for various media,storage,access,transmission, privilege and management.The authors are planning to create an embryonic form of a digital library in Shanghai Jiantong University. |
