| 摘 要： | 威廉·福克纳的作品由于其语言的独特性对读者要求甚高,他《在诺贝尔奖颁奖典礼上的演讲》在我国已经有好几个译文版本,文章在翻译上各有千秋。但在对"thematerialsofthehumanspirit","tofindadedication","ButIwouldliketodothesamewiththeacclaimtoo","Therearenolongerproblemsofthespirit"等句子的理解和翻译值得商榷。

| Abstract: | Thanks to their peculiarity in the language, William Faulkner's works demand much of his readers. There are quite a few translation versions of his Acceptance Speech in our country, each having its strong points. However, there exist some different understandings of the original in the published versions such as "the materials of the human spirit", "to find a dedication", "But I would like to do the same with the acclaim too", "There are no longer problems of the spirit", etc., and hence varied translations of the speech, which are open to discussion. |
