| Abstract: | On the basis of traditional realistic criticism, this paper further analyses the application of stream of consciousness in The Catcher in the Rye . It expounds and proves that the novel is characterized by stream of consciousness and points out the author's characteristics and creativity in his skill in stream of consciousness. |
