| Abstract: | Elizabeth Bishop is one of the influential poets in the American literary arena of the 20th century.Applying her representative poems At the Fishhouses and Fish,this article tries to analyze the main features of Bishop's poems: the usage of shifting point-of-view theory,defamiliarization,and the focus on ecology.Thus,it provides a new way in understanding Bishop's poetic features. |
