| 摘 要： | 不同国家的语言均反映着其特有的文化现象,这构成了跨文化交际过程中的种种障碍。解释性翻译在文化交流中将不同语言文化的独特之处以及文化背景加以详尽的解释,起到了移植文化的重要作用。主要探讨了解释性翻译在汉英翻译实践中的应用,以实例说明运用解释性翻译传达中文专有名词、概括性词、缩略语以及谚语、典故、歇后语等文化负载文本的方法。

| Abstract: | Different languages have different cultural background,which constitutes an obstacle in the inter-cultural communication;therefore,explanatory translation is playing a crucial role in the "culture transplant" by explaining the cultural details contained in a context.This essay is intended to discuss the application of explanatory translation in the practice of Chinese-English translation with sample translations of Chinese proper nouns,acronyms,proverbs,idioms and other special expressions. |
