| 摘 要： | 翻译界有一种观点,认为译文“宁信而不顺”倡导异化;还有一种观点,认为译文应该“读起来不像译文”,“仿佛是原作者的中文写作”,因为译作的语言应是规范的汉语,提倡同化。英文汉译应在忠实于原文的基础上兼顾汉语读者的可接受程度,进一步优化“异化”的译语,使译文既保持“异国情调”,又符合汉语习惯,“一仆二主”,皆大欢喜。

| Abstract: | One view about translation is that translation should be as faithful to the source language as possible(in our case,English),even if it has to be poorly organized target language,which is called dissimilation.While another view is that translation should not read like a work of translation but one written in Chinese by the original writer.For this reason,the target language should be standard Chinese,which is called assimilation.The author of this paper,however,puts forward the suggestion that translation,based on the faithfulness to the original text,should of course consider the acceptability of its Chinese readers,therefore,the translator ought to optimize the dissimilated target language,so that the translation can not only retain the "exotic atmosphere" but also accord with the Chinese language. |
